sims 3 pc cheats: I have sims 3 for the pc installed on my laptop and i'm trying to enable cheats.?

but every time i press ctrl + shift + c and i type in testingcheatsenabledtrue it says command unknown. what do i do? how can i get the cheats to work?I have sims 3 for the pc installed on my laptop and i'm trying to enable cheats.?
Put a space in between "testing" "cheatsenabled" and "true" that's the only way it would work on my laptop. So...maybe it'll work for you?
